THEE Dress Code

Our theme is Art Nouveau, Gilded in Gold -- so think Gustave Klimt, Alphonso Mucha, Gianni Versace's ss94 runway show, Balmain's Autumn-Winter 1993 runway line up, or even whatever metal of choice is!

Whatever you choose to wear, we'd love for you to bring rich, moody, fun colors to our Cathedral wedding and intimate dinner reception.

If hotels aren't your thang or you have a different vision for how you want to stay with us this weekend, Burlington is a very Airbnb friendly city. Jon and I have also stayed in most of the neighboring towns of Charlotte, Shelburn, Winooski, Williston, and Colchester and can vouch for their lovely and quaint atmosphere.

How to get here

By car...

It on average takes about 4 - 4.5 hrs to drive to Burlington (coming from CT).There's a pleathora of places we reccommend taking pit stops at, like the Vermont Welcome Center in Brattleboro, Queechee Gorge Village, Montpelier, and Vergennes. There's a couple of different ways to drive up, but the two ways we have are:

Option #1 (reccommended): You can take I-91 North for about 55 miles to I-89 North for them another 117 miles. Then take I-189 for the last stretch of 87 miles toward Burlington, Shelburne.

Option #2 (the scenic, longer route): You can take Route 8 North all the way to the end in Winsted, take the connecter R-44 North to Caanan, CT, where you then hop on R-7 North and take that allllll the way up Vermont.

By plane...
Burlington International Airport

1200 Airport Dr, South Burlington, VT 05403

While we have never flown in, flight times are around 1hr and 30min from JFK Airport and LaGuardia Airport

By train...
AMTRAK - "Ethan Allen Express" or the "Vermonter"

The Ethan Allen Express Train runs faster with a total time of 7 hrs 34 min. It runs from Penn Station, NYC to Union Station, Burlington VT.

The Vermonter Train runs longer at 13 hrs 45 min due to more frequent stops, including Penn Station NYC and Union Station, New Haven CT.

We graciously accept traditional gifts if you would still like to honor us with something that truly speaks to your love language of giving.
